Additional and detailed information about the use of your personal data

2. PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS
2.1. Why do we process your data and what is the legal basis for this processing?
At Fundación Telefónica, we process data collected for the purpose of managing the information from users who are interested in participating in our social action, entrepreneurship and digital culture projects, and facilitating their effective participation in those activities.
Fundación Telefónica, as a non-profit organisation and in performance of its foundational purposes will also keep you informed of its current activity.
The user alone will be responsible for the inclusion in the forms of false, inaccurate, incomplete, or obsolete information.
The processing of your data is based on the informed consent that you grant when sending the information requested. This fact provides the legal basis for the processing for the purpose stated.
2.2. Will you need to provide us with all your details? What will happen if you do not provide them?
Yes, you will need to provide all the personal details requested in the relevant forms. In the event that you do not provide them, we will not be able to process your request properly.
2.3. Will individualised automated decisions be made and/or profiling be performed which have legal effects or significantly affect you in a similar way?
No.
2.4. How long do we process your data for?
The details provided will be kept while the person is interested in maintaining a relationship with Fundación Telefónica.
3. TRANSFEREES:
3.1. Will we transfer your data to other entities?
According to section 13.2 (e) of the General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016), only the data necessary to manage project execution may be transferred to third parties. Transfers will affect the minimum amount of data needed to fulfil the purposes described.
If at any time Fundación Telefónica intended to make a transfer outside the scope of section 13.2 (e) of the General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016), it would always ask the user for their express consent to the transfer in advance.
4. RECIPIENTS OF INTERNATIONAL TRANFERS:
4.1. Will your personal data will be transferred to other countries or international organisations?
No, with the exception of Fundación Telefónica’s «International Solidarity Holidays” project, for which data will be transferred to the strictly necessary extent for that project to the country the volunteer is to visit, if selected.
5. RIGHTS OF THE USER:
5.1. What rights do you have concerning the processing of your data?
Any duserhas the right to obtain confirmation as to whether Fundación Telefónica is processing personal data concerning them.
In addition, as provided in the General Data Protection Regulation, we inform you that you have the following rights:
•    Accessing your Data

You have the right to access your data in order to ascertain what personal data we are processing that concerns you.

•    Requesting the Correction or Deletion of your Data

In certain circumstances, you have the right to rectify inaccurate personal data concerning you which is the subject of processing on our part, or even to request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

•    Requesting the Limitation of the Processing of your Data

In certain circumstances, you have the right to ask us to limit the processing of your data, in which case, we will inform you that we will only retain it for making or defending claims, as provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation.

•    The Right to Data Portability

In certain circumstances, you have the right to receive the personal details concerning you which you have provided to us, in a structured, readable and common use format, and to transmit them to another data processor.

•    Objecting to the Processing of your Data

In certain circumstances, and for reasons related to your particular situation, you will have the right to object to the processing of your data, in which case, we would cease to process it, unless we have legitimate, compelling reasons to do otherwise, or for making or defending potential claims.
5.2. When will we respond to your request?
We will respond as soon as possible, and in any event, within one month of receipt of your request. This period may be extended for a further two months if necessary, depending on the complexity and number of requests. The manager shall inform the interested party of the extension within the first month following the request.
5.3. Do you have the right to withdraw your consent?
The user has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the legality of any processing based on consent prior to its withdrawal. Although in the event of the withdrawal of consent we will not be able to process your data for your participation in Fundación Telefónica projects. The data will remain blocked at Fundación Telefónica during the time that, by law, it is required to be stored until its subsequent destruction.
5.4. Who should you contact to exercise your rights?
In order to exercise his or her rights, the usersubje may contact Fundación Telefónica in writing, at the postal address given in the first section on processing managers or by email to: derechosarco@fundaciontelefonica.com, attaching documentary proof of your identity.
5.5. Do you have the right to file a complaint?
Yes. Especially when you have not obtained satisfaction in the exercise of your rights, you have the right to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, to which end you should contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
